Dental Assistant Subsitute

We are currently looking for a dental assistant substitute for our friendly, busy, fast-paced office that has been in Brighton for almost 30 years. We strive to maintain a fun atmosphere and we have amazing patients. Our office hours are 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday. Candidates must have hands-on experience as a dental assistant. Must be enthusiastic about their dental work, committed to improving the oral health of patients, and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times in a friendly and professional manner.
Desired Skills:
- assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
- taking dental x-rays
- preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
- helping patients feel comfortable before, during, and after dental treatment
- providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental procedures
- taking impressions of patients’ teeth
- familiarity with dental office computer software, Eaglesoft preferred
