Choosing Your Dentist

Brighton Healthy Smiles

Brighton Healthy Smiles knows that it’s not always easy to tell if your dentist is a good one, unless you are a dentist yourself. Here are some of the things you should consider as you make your choice:

Personal comfort – One of the most important things to consider when you choose a dentist is whether you feel comfortable with that person. Are you able to explain symptoms and ask questions? Do you feel like the dentist hears and understands your concerns? Would you feel comfortable expressing your fear or anxiety, or asking questions about a procedure?

Ask your friends and family – At Brighton Healthy Smiles, we’ve found that friends and family members are a great resource. People who like their dentist are usually happy to tell you about them! They can tell you about the personality of the dentist and office staff. Here are some good questions to ask:

  • How well does the dentist explain treatment options?
  • How long do you have to sit in the waiting room?
  • Do you feel comfortable asking questions?
  • How does the office handle emergencies?
  • How long do you have to wait for an appointment?

Remember, the latest technologies are great, but they do not make someone a great dentist. A great dentist is someone who works with you to comfortably achieve a healthy mouth and a beautiful smile.

At Brighton Healthy Smiles, we work very hard to make your experience with our office as positive as it can be. We invite you to contact us so we can show you why Brighton Healthy Smiles is the best choice for a healthy mouth and a happy patient!
